Homemade Soap Business

Is $200 enough to start a soap making business?
I have been making soap for myself and my family for the past 6 months. I really like it and I think I'm ready to start selling my soap to the public.
I already have molds and most of the ingredients I need. Will $200 be enough for everything else?

Hi Ann!
I'm glad to hear that you're starting a home based soap business.
If you didn't already have many of the soap making supplies, I would have had to say that $200 is cutting it close. But since you have them, I think $200 will be enough to get your new business off the ground.
From what you've said, it sounds as if only a small portion will need to be spent on supplies. The rest can be devoted to marketing and promoting your business.
