You don't need to buy a list of survey companies. I'll tell you who you can earn money taking online surveys with for free. The absolute best source of free paying surveys is Pinecone Research. Back when I was doing surveys for them they were paying between $3-$5 per survey. This is, by far, the most money you will likely receive for completing a survey. Ignore websites that tell you, you can get $40 for filling out a survey. Think about it. Who would be dumb enough to pay that much for such a small amount of work? The problem with Pinecone is that you can't just go to their website and sign up to earn money taking online surveys. I don't know why, but they make it very difficult to join their panel. You have to spot one of their banner ads. Run a Google search on "Pinecone banner ad". This will get you a few leads on where the ads have been recently sighted. Pinecone doesn't run the ads on the same websites all the time. It may take you a while, but you'll find one if you keep trying. Once you see the banner, click on it and sign up to join their panel. If they accept you, don't make the same mistake I did. I wanted to take a break from doing surveys so I just didn't respond to their emails for a few weeks. They removed me from the panel because of this. When I was ready to start again, I couldn't get back on. If you need to take time off, let them know. O.k., on to the easier companies. The rest of the survey companies all work in very similar ways. You go to the website and sign up. If they need people in your demographic group they'll start sending you surveys immediately. Mostly the way it works is that you earn so many points or cash for each completed survey. This builds up in your account until you have enough to "cash out". The cash out threshold varies from company to company. Some companies will allow you to cash out at $5, others will make you wait until you have $10. Some of them pay in cash, others in merchandise. Some of the merchandise I have received includes gift cards to Target, McDonalds and the Olive Garden. There are many other things available, those are just the three I always picked. It was nice being able to take my husband out to dinner for free. I used the Target gift cards to get my cleaning or gardening products for free.
