Are Paid Online Surveys a Scam ?

Hey, what about those ads that say, "free paying surveys" or, "take online surveys for cash". Are paid online surveys a scam or what?

If this is legit, it seems like a great way to make easy money at home which is just what I'm looking for.

This is not a simple yes or no answer. Getting paid for online surveys is a legitimate earn at home scheme.

Now that is not to say that there are no paid online survey scams out there. There are.

You don't need to worry about them because they are very easy to avoid. Here's how you keep yourself safe from the money for surveys scams:

1. Don't believe anything that sounds too good to be true. If an ad says something like, "Make $5,000 a month taking free paying surveys !", you know in your heart-of-hearts that this is a lie.

We all wish there were lots of easy work at home jobs paying thousands per month that we could do between soap operas.

Even I wish there were. But I've been working from home for many years and I know for a fact that this is not reality. In the real world, earning money at home requires real work.

2. Never pay to take surveys. Free online surveys are truly no fee work from home. Anyone who asks you to buy anything in connection with them is trying to scam you.

You don't need to buy a list of companies offering money for surveys. You can find them easily just by typing "free paying surveys forums" into any search engine.

You want to go to a forum because that is where real people gather to discuss which companies pay and which don't. If you type in "free paying surveys" without the word "forums" you will pull up all the scams.

I did online surveys in my spare time for several years. The only reason I no longer do them is because I no longer have any spare time and, frankly, there are much more lucrative work from home opportunities.
