A real way to make money from home please!!!!!!

They tell you that you should not have to pay for anything to work from home. What company is going to actually give you the exact information to make money from home??
They tell you that its totally free but they charge you shipping and handling for the so-called dvd's or the books to make money on the internet. What are you suppose to do??
If I owned a company I could not afford to just give my products and dvd's away. It does cost money to have dvd's and books done up for your company.
Then they tell you you can do a "TRIAL" period for 10 days or so for just $4.95. If it works at all, then you have to pay $49.95 to keep it. I don't know who or what to believe.
As for The BBB,what a joke!!
You usually have to buy more products to make any money at all if any at all. So,who can you really trust?
Why cant someone just come up with a real way to make money from home?

Hi Lori,
It sounds like you're having a tough time finding the right work from home opportunity for you.
I've been working out of my home for many years and I can assure you that there are lots of ways to make money from home.
The problem with the work from home opportunities sites is that a lot of people have put up websites just in order to sell something so that they (the site owner) can make commissions on those sales. They don't care if the product works or not. They just want you to buy it so that they can make some money.
The second problem is with some of the people looking for work from home opportunities. Many people want a work from home job that pays 6 figures and doesn't require them to work very much.
This is a fantasy.
Lots of other people looking for work from home ideas want everything to be free. There are some free opportunities. For instance, you can earn money taking online surveys but it won't be much. Most of the free work from home opportunities don't pay much.
I look at it like this: most people who make good money at regular jobs are college educated. They spent 4 years and invested tens of thousands of dollars into getting where they are today. So if I have to buy a few books or take an online course, that is to be expected.
And you're right about a company needing to charge for its training materials. Those materials cost a great deal to put together. They are in business to make a profit and, as long as they are not scamming people, they deserve to.
So, who can you trust?
Yourself. Your own gut. Is the plan they are laying out making sense or is it a little too pie-in-the-sky?
Anyone who promises you tons of money for very little effort is lying.
You can't make a living working 2 hours a day. I work 8 hours a day just like my husband who works an outside job.
It is true that I can take a day off whenever I want. But if I take too many days off, I won't meet my income goals. So I still sometimes have to work when I'd rather be doing something else. This is just one of the realities of life.
Working from home is not like winning the lottery. You still have to work. But what it can be is a way for you to have greater flexibility.
I often work in the middle of the night if I have other things I need--or want--to do during the day. If I want to do something fun one day, I can just work extra hours over the next week to make up the time and I don't have to get anybody's permission to do it.
You didn't mention what kind of work you're looking for so I'll just make some general suggestions.
Freelance Work from Home can point you toward some ways of finding freelance work if you are a writer or an artist or a graphic designer, etc.
Jobs Working at Home also covers working as a company employee from your home or telecommuting. Most of these are at home customer service jobs.
Good luck in finding something you like that is also profitable.
